To flash the Honor 6X, you will need the following:
- A computer with a USB port
- A USB cable
- The latest firmware for your Honor 6X
- A file manager app
- A USB driver for your Honor 6X
Once you have all of the necessary tools, follow these steps to flash your Honor 6X:
- Download the latest firmware for your Honor 6X from the Huawei website.
- Extract the firmware file to a folder on your computer.
- Connect your Honor 6X to your computer using a USB cable.
- Open a file manager app on your computer.
- Navigate to the folder where you extracted the firmware file.
- Copy the firmware file to the root of your Honor 6X’s internal storage.
- Disconnect your Honor 6X from your computer.
- Turn off your Honor 6X.
- Hold down the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time.
- When the Honor logo appears, release the Volume Down button.
- Use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to scroll to the option that says “Fastboot” and press the Power button to select it.
- Your Honor 6X will now boot into Fastboot mode.
- Open a command prompt window on your computer.
- Navigate to the folder where you extracted the firmware file.
- Type the following command and press Enter:
fastboot flash all ./filename.img
Replace filename.img with the name of the firmware file you downloaded.
- Wait for the flashing process to complete.
- Once the flashing process is complete, type the following command and press Enter:
fastboot reboot
Your Honor 6X will now reboot and start up normally.
It is important to note that flashing your Honor 6X will erase all of the data on your device. Make sure to back up your data before you begin the flashing process.
